SimmingWorld.com closed down in March 2007 after almost four years of providing award-winning coverage of EA/Maxis' The Sims and SimCity games. With over 35 million unique visitors and two thousand members, SW served English-speaking players all over the world, from California to Pakistan. We were known for in-depth articles, endless coverage, a working relationship with our members, and -- at large -- a deep understanding and involvement with the largest online game community in the world.

It was an unbelievably successful run, and as such I am terribly late in getting in around to this memorial page. If you happen upon this, please know that I and the rest of the former SW staff are forever grateful to our visitors, affiliates, and friends. You helped us stand out, and we are remembered as a result. That says something.
